According to the CAG report being declared, it has figured out that the exchequer lost that took place of around Rs. 37,000 crore was because of the spectrum was allotted farther from the contracted amount was being given free of cost to the existing mobile operators. Due to this 2G scandal some of the leading mobile operators are expected to earn a big profit.
The uppermost profit was expected to be earned by the BSNL and MTNL operators whereas the India’s top mobile operator Bharti airtel is expected to save another big amount of Rs 8,520 crore. As the report have shown that the mobile operators have gain a huge profit from this spectrum but it is failed to put up the actual amount of profit earned by the service providers.
The calculations have been done which has shown the results as the biggest gainer in the whole spectrum are the BSNL and MTNL.
