Data Infosys, which is an Indian firm has recently made an announcement about the launch of its latest service called “Bharat Berry” which they claim to be an alternative to the Blackberry services. This service has been launched at the time when Indian Government has apprehensions about the Blackberry services regarding the security issues.
RIM has already been given a deadline of 31st January, 2011 so as to provide the access to its user data to the security agencies of the country, failing to which the services will be banned in India. The new services of Bharat Berry was in the testing phase since last few days and now it has been finally launched by the chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot.
As per the founder and CEO of Data Infosys, Ajay Data , Bharat Berry has been launched considering all the laws of India and the service will work on all the Blackberry handsets as well as other mobile phones.
